The Research Base is in the process of closing its doors after 12 rewarding, challenging and brilliant years. Founded in 2010 by Matilda Gosling, Sara Fakhro and Tara Kennedy, we had over 20 talented members of staff over the years, with an incredible team ethos and working environment.

We conducted field research in more than 60 countries across five continents, working with teams of local researchers and other expert associates. Our work spanned almost 200 projects for more than 60 clients, who were a mix of national and international charities, bilateral agencies, trusts and foundations, government bodies and businesses.

The directors have decided to pursue other professional and personal interests for now. The legacy of the work of The Research Base continues in the individuals who worked with us, and in the ongoing impact of the research and evaluation projects we delivered.
