Amanda Browning, Programme Administrator

Amanda joined The Research Base in 2014 and is our Programme Administrator. She supports The Research Base team in a variety of ways, including project management, stakeholder mapping and recruitment, complex international travel arrangements and communications.

Amanda has a background in administration, sales and media, having worked for the Guardian and Observer Newspapers, DMG World Media, Associated Newspapers and BA Media. In these roles, she increased the spend of several partners and clients, boosting revenue significantly, and reorganised administration and logistical processes.

Alongside her role within The Research Base, Amanda works as a childminder in East Sussex and has a proven ability to entertain and please some of the most challenging stakeholders. She also studied Interior Architecture at Middlesex University and has a keen interest in the arts, having co-founded the Exit Theatre Company. Amanda has recently passed her PRINCE2 Foundation exam.
