Joe Shreeve, Senior Researcher
Prior to his current role at The Research Base, Joe as worked as a researcher for the Population Health Research Institute at St George’s, University of London, and as Parliamentary Analyst for Dods Monitoring.
Joe is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh with a first class honours, where he received prizes for the quality of his academic work in Philosophy and Linguistics.

Joe joined The Research Base in August 2014. Based in Brighton, Joe works on a range of research and evaluation projects. He has a particular interest in participatory research methods and innovative approaches to evaluation.
Recent work has included:
• Providing training and ongoing capacity building for a team of early career academics in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to enable them to deliver a Social Impact Assessment for SOS Children’s Villages International.
• Facilitating workshops with young people in Kenya to build recommendations to improve a digital training programme.
• Leading focus groups across the UK, with education policy makers, academics and teachers, for a Royal Society research project, which aimed to understand how education research can best serve the needs of teachers and pupils.
