Tara directs the delivery of The Research Base’s portfolio of research projects. A demon project manager, she is a qualified project and programme management professional and has overseen the delivery of numerous education and third sector research projects. She also oversees the development of new projects.

She has provided project management for a number of international market intelligence reports for large education sector clients. Sample projects include an ongoing evaluation of the Clore Leadership Programme; a quantitative and qualitative research project on climate change adaptation and access to education in South East Asia for Plan International; evaluating the delivery of skills assessment in India for the British Council; and the delivery of a project for the Chilean Ministry of Labour into the development of sector skills councils to promote access to education.She was also involved in the evaluation of various strands of Teach First’s work, including their Leadership Development Programme.

Tara has recently conducted field research in countries including India, Chile and Vietnam.

Tara has degrees from the University of Sydney.

She is qualified in project management (PRINCE2) and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP).

Tara has delivered projects and strategies for public and private sector clients for over fifteen years, including work with Zurich Financial Services, VINCI Park UK, Perth & Kinross Council and the Horsesmouth Foundation. Tara was also Project Manager on the successful bid for London to host the 2011 WorldSkills Competition.

Tara is currently based in Sydney, Australia.
